Under Sheet Stack Fumigation

Under sheet stack fumigation is used to treat many items of raw materials and finished goods, packaging materials and timber can be treated effectively.

We can use Sulfuryl Fluoride for treatment times of 24hrs or for food product Phosphine is used where the exposure period can be 14 days.

We will attend your site and cover the product under gas proof sheets. This method contains the fumigant and allows treatment in situ.

The levels of fumigant are closely monitored along with temperature.

Once a Concentration Time Product has been achieved we will remove the fumigant via forced air ventilation.

Gas monitors are used to detect fumigant in the air. Once this is below the WEL we remove the sheets and issue gas free and treatment certificates.

There are no toxic residues left after treatment and areas will be safe to re-enter.

Treatment will completely eliminate pest infestations deep within the product.

Palletised and bulk goods can be treated in situ provided an adequate risk area can be maintained.

Treatment can be undertaken on as little as 1 cubic meter to many thousands of cubic meter of product in one go.

This can reduce logistic costs and time in having the items moved. It can also prevent infested goods coming in and infesting your storage and production facilities.

At the end of the treatment all toxic gases are removed through forced ventilation via ducting which moves the harmful concentrations out of the fumigation/risk area and dispersed into free air space away from working areas.

We take gas measurements to ensure efficacy of treatment and to ensure there are no levels of toxic gas above the Occupational Exposure Standards (OES) and Maximum Exposure Limit (MEL). On completion you will receive gas free clearance and certificate of fumigation documentation.
